About the Role
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for leading their team of Area Managers and hourly staff to provide exceptional inventory service to customers. The DM should lead with a commitment to outstanding people leadership, ensuring a strong and focused team. The role involves driving financial success through proper budget planning, scheduling, expense control, and P&L management. The DM will work with their leader, district partners, and field support partners to grow talent and increase business footprint.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing retail multi-store operations
- Demonstrated history of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proven record of driving exceptional financial results through engaged planning, event execution, expense control, overtime management, and P&L management
- Proven success in growing business opportunities and profit growth through increased customer engagement and satisfaction
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of training and developing talent for future bench strength
- Strong communication and service skills to build and maintain relationships with employees and customers
- Ability to work varied, non-traditional hours, including early mornings, days, evenings, and flexible schedules
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check (investigative consumer report) and drug screening
- Ability to successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and meet Company Qualified Van Driver (QVD) eligibility requirements where driving is an essential function of the role
- Where applicable, must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Company fleet driver requirements to support District or Regional business needs
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel via automobile and air
- Ability to adapt to changing working conditions, including standing, sitting for long periods, frequent walking, bending, squatting, or kneeling
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts regularly
- Occasional longer-distance travel via plane or automobile, including overnight stays, may be required
