District Consumer Banker II

About the role

As a Consumer Banker you will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen relationships by booking business directly and by referring to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker Commercial, and Treasury Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform account-opening and maintenance functions; run a Teller drawer as needed.
• Engage clients through active calling, conversations, and follow-up.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver expertise and solutions.
• Conduct timely client follow-up calls.
• Maintain all operational and risk-management standards.
• Assist clients in branch, drive-thru, by phone, and via email.
• Model First Financial’s Mission and Values for peers.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
• Execute retail strategies to attract, retain, and grow client relationships.
• Act as a trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model.
• Lead and participate in site-center huddles and sales meetings.
• Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals.
• Provide digital-assistance for online-banking setup and support.
• Stay current on all bank products, processes, and procedures.
• Travel up to 60 miles per day between banking centers (mileage above normal commute is reimbursed).

Requirements

• 3–4 years of client-service experience in a retail environment.
• 3–4 years of sales and service experience with a track record of meeting goals.
• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Strong bank-product knowledge and sales skills.
• May obtain notary authorization.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
• Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
• Frequently sits, stands, walks, and drives.

Pay

$18.00 – $20.67 per hour.
