Alachua County Public Schools (ACPS) has an immediate opening for a full-time school psychologist on a 10-month (196-day) contract with a 7.5-hour workday. Summer contract work, up to 25 days in recent years, is available.

About the role

ACPS school psychologists provide a wide range of services including psychoeducational evaluations, consultation, crisis intervention, and counseling support.

Pay

Salaries are based on degree and years of experience, with a $5,000 psychologist supplement provided in addition to the regular pay scale.

Located in North Central Florida, Alachua County serves Gainesville and its surrounding communities. Within two hours of Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville, the area combines college-town vitality with protected natural beauty.
