About the Role

Alachua County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking a full-time school psychologist for a 10-month (196-day contract) position, with a 7.5-hour workday. The role is effective immediately. Summer contract work (up to 25 days in recent years) may also be available.

ACPS school psychologists provide a wide range of services, including psychoeducational evaluations, consultation, crisis intervention, and counseling support.

Location

Located in North Central Florida, Alachua County serves Gainesville and its surrounding communities. The area is within two hours of Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville, offering a unique blend of college-town vitality and protected natural beauty.

Pay

Salaries are based on degree and years of experience, with a $5,000 psychologist supplement provided in addition to the regular pay scale.
