Responsibilities

As a District 9 Highway Labor/w CDL Highway Technician 1 - 2025 Winter Seasonal, your responsibilities may include:

• Performing various highway maintenance tasks such as snow plowing, ice removal, and debris cleanup.
• Maintaining and operating heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Assisting in the repair and upkeep of roadways.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and department policies.
• Communicating effectively with other team members and supervisors.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• At least one year of experience in highway maintenance or related field
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Experience with snow plowing and ice removal techniques
• Knowledge of highway construction and maintenance practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
