Distribution Technician - Night Shift $500 Sign On Bonus

About the Role

Perform and support all leads, supervisors, and staff members with operational functions of quality control, label inspection and separation, packaging, special instructions, and shipping to meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards. This role is on B Shift: S-T 7:45 PM–8 AM, Wed 7:45 PM–8 AM. We are offering a $500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates!

Responsibilities

• Accurately inspects, separates, slots, and packages all label/print products.
• Ensures all quality control standards are maintained.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
• Ensures all shipments are completed and packages are shipped to the correct person/place as directed by the daily job schedule, lead, supervisor, job ticket, or customer special instructions.
• Communicates problems or quality issues due to printing, laminating, or shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.
• Double-checks all shipments leaving the production facility for errors before they arrive at the customer.
• May communicate with courier companies and drivers about shipping delays, special deliveries, and other issues affecting customer deliveries.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Physical Demands:
  • Stands 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
  • Uses hands and fingers to handle and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Reaches with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Lifts 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
• Additional Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.
