Distribution Technician - Night Shift $500 Sign On Bonus

About the Role

Perform and support all leads, supervisors, and staff members with operational functions of quality control, label inspection and separation, packaging, special instructions, and shipping to meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards. This role is on B Shift: Sunday to Tuesday, 7:45 PM–8:00 AM, and Wednesday, 7:45 PM–8:00 AM. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Accurately inspect, separate, slot, and package all label/print products.
• Ensure all quality control standards are maintained.
• Use the ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
• Complete all shipments and ensure packages are shipped to the correct person/place as directed by the daily job schedule, lead, supervisor, job ticket, or customer special instructions.
• Communicate problems or quality issues due to printing, laminating, or shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.
• Double-check all shipments leaving the production facility for errors before they arrive at the customer.
• Communicate with courier companies and drivers about shipping delays, special deliveries, and other issues affecting customer deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, use required PPE, and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Physical Demands:
  • Stand 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
  • Use hands and fingers to handle and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Reach with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Lift 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
  • Require close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
• Additional Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
