Distribution Technician

Job Overview

The Distribution Technician is responsible for:

• Delivering all clean linen exchange for the soiled linen carts to Nursing Units.
• Maintaining the Clean Linen Room and soiled Linen Room.
• Maintaining linen and scrubs inventory in the OR, and other ancillary areas.
• Stocking shelves, PYXIS machines, and assisting the Coordinator.
• Preparing shipments and bills for truck and rail carriers.
• Preparing records of receipt of incoming material and equipment.
• The accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving receipts with orders.
• The delivery of product to the various departments within the facility and off-site locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

$17.12 - $19.83 per hour
