Distribution Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise Supply Chain projects as assigned
• Materials replenishment and maintenance at Supply Chain Central Supply and Satellite locations
• Inventory replenishment and data entry of minimums and maximums
• Aid in quality, inventory control, and other tasks as directed
• Deliver supplies and equipment to user departments efficiently and promptly
• Communicate with user departments and Supply Chain department regarding inventory needs
• Inspect product quality and check for out-dated items upon receipt
• Cycle count inventory, maintain proper rotation, check for out-dates, organize stock items, and update documentation
• Maintain inventory quantities in the system, verify system changes are saved accurately, and communicate stock-outs, backorders, and other inventory concerns
• Participate in physical inventory counts and quality control efforts as assigned
• Handle and store sterile items to maintain sterility
• Maintain equipment used for transporting supplies to ensure reliability, cleanliness, and safe operation
• Notify Distribution and Receiving Manager when supplies or special orders are needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college education or professional knowledge is preferred
