Distribution Technician (2:30P-11:00P)

Distribution Technician (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM), Central Services, University Health Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. Full-time, 40 hours per week.

About the role

This is an entry-level position. Staff will be trained in areas of the department. Perform heavy manual labor including receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory control of equipment and supplies. Perform data entry computer work.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, distribute, and control inventory of equipment and supplies
• Perform data entry and computer work
• Flex work schedule to cover weekend shifts as needed
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to input data into computer programs
• Good customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Six to twelve months experience working in a health care facility
• Familiarity with hospital supplies and equipment
• Experience with materials management computer programs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
• 25 WPM keyboarding skills
