Job Overview
The position involves performing data entry, dispensing, checking par levels, breaking out stock, assembling and storing commercial supplies, assembling surgical case carts, performing environmental maintenance, picking up and preparing mailings, assisting in the copy center, and other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites
- High School or GED diploma preferred
- One year of experience in supply distribution preferred

Performance Responsibilities
- Performs daily par-level inventory of supplies
- Assembles correct supplies in bins on delivery carts from designated pick list daily
- Delivers and restocks supplies in assigned areas using correct stock rotation method
- Constantly checks for outdates and replaces supplies when found
- Assembles requested supplies for Surgery areas/case carts
- Reconciles shelf discrepancies
- Communicates in a positive and effective method with both internal and external customers
- Delivers all STAT requests immediately with the correct requested supply
- Responds to phone/printer orders delivering requested supplies within 15 minutes
- Records all supplies sent or returned accurately on pre-issue or credits records
- Performs correct data entry into the computer system for requested supplies/credits
- Attaches correct patient charge labels to all required items
- Assists in assigned area of Distribution department annual inventories/cycle counts
- Assists with modifications or development in all supply and service areas when requested
- Performs borrow/loan function as needed
- Provides correct forms/supplies per physician requests for patient care
- Serves and information requests from physician/customer inquiries
- Maintains supplies necessary for daily performance of duties
- Maintains equipment on a daily basis and call for repairs as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
