About the role

Own daily warehouse operations. Ensure product is received, stored, and delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Lead the team that makes it happen.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train new Warehouse Associates
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly priorities, assign work, and hold the team accountable to results
  • Coach and develop your people day to day, building skills and readiness for the next step
  • Manage performance directly: set clear expectations, give regular feedback, run reviews, and handle corrective action up to and including termination as needed
  • Motivate and engage the team, and foster a culture of Operational Excellence on the floor
  • Track and analyze team and department metrics, goals, and budgets
  • Run the operation: accurate, timely receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of product to company standards
  • Manage freight carriers and third-party logistics for on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost
  • Keep inventory accurate through cycle counts and location audits
  • Analyze shipping and receiving volume, monitor overall workload, and prepare and provide performance metrics and KPIs
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Warehousing and 5S, and help implement new technologies and equipment
  • Utilize new technologies, including AI, to streamline processes and procedures
  • Lead continuous improvement workshops and projects
  • Ensure a safe, compliant environment (OSHA, ISO 9001:2015) and oversee equipment maintenance
  • Partner across departments to deliver a seamless experience for internal and external customers
  • Step onto the floor and perform the work of your team when the day calls for it

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of warehouse and/or logistics experience
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience, with a track record leading both processes and people
  • Solid knowledge of warehouse, transportation, and logistics best practices and safety standards
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with ERP and/or WMS systems
  • Strong problem-solving: able to anticipate, analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex issues
  • Prior forklift certification

Qualifications

  • Able to be on your feet roughly 8 hours a day
  • Able to bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs
  • Warehouse setting with dust, occasional noise, and temperature changes as dock doors open and close
  • Safe operation of forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment

Pay

The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year. This role is eligible for an incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
