Distribution Supervisor - Supply Chain - 1st shift

About the role

Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management, policy enforcement, and assisting in developing improvements to our business. Develops and maintains standard operation procedures for all areas of responsibility. Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department's mission in an effective and efficient manner. Plans and coordinates work by performing time studies, cost analysis, prototype builds or other means as necessary. Ensures associates meet company and departmental standards for quality, productivity, housekeeping & safety. Ensures associate's ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations. Monitors, measures, and documents department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements. Cross-trains all associates in the department and enforces all company policies and procedures. Partner with Human Resources with interviewing prospective candidates, administer policies and procedures as applicable, monitor employee performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach and counsel for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
• Minimum 1-2 years' leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
• High degree of credibility and integrity

Pay

$70,900 - $114,100 annual full-time salary range. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements. Salary is only one component of total rewards at Stanley Black & Decker.
