Distribution Specialist II (Forklift Operator)

This is a 2nd Shift Position
Responsibilities
- Must be proficient in the operation of an Powered Industrial Truck and/or pallet jack according to operating standards
- Must follow all safety guidelines for safe operations of PIT and wear proper PPE while driving PIT
- Complete daily operational checklist, report all mechanical issues to your supervisor or maintenance
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is selected from the correct location. Report all picking and/or rewarehouse inconsistencies to the department supervisor
- Accurately conduct location counts
- Maintain a minimum of 95% or higher productivity rate
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly assigned work area
- Comply with all OSHA standards and facility safety rules
- Conduct behavior that reflects a safe working attitude at all times
Requirements
Full-time position in the Distribution Department
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the operation of a Powered Industrial Truck and/or pallet jack
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Experience in completing daily operational checklists and reporting issues
- Knowledge of efficient order picking and location counting
- High productivity rate (minimum 95%)
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and facility safety rules
Skills
- Operational proficiency with Powered Industrial Trucks and/or pallet jacks
- Safety awareness and adherence to safety guidelines
- Attention to detail in order picking and location counts

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $39,540 USD - $48,048 USD. Actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
