About the role
Responsible for the administration of all Commercial Vehicle distribution activities.
Responsibilities
- Processes requests for information, changes, and updates from dealers, regional and fleet personnel via phone, email, internal electronic mail system, and fax.
- Maintains proper documentation on important issues.
- Monitors reports generated from daily order processing and takes appropriate action that requires communicating with dealers to resolve issues.
- Processes daily assignments from the ports, body companies, and mod center.
- Processes daily shipment reports from ports, body companies, and the mod center.
- Maintains proper audit documentation.
- Acts as main liaison between Isuzu and body companies. Confirms accuracy of purchase orders, processes invoices, and maintains available inventory reports.
- Processes vehicle hold requests, including input into the vehicle system, follow-up, assignment, and/or hold release, as well as all related documentation.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education, Experience & Training
- Two years college-level education or equivalent directly related experience
- Minimum three years telemarketing, customer service or distribution experience
- Automotive/heavy truck experience desirable
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge
- Knowledge of inventory control, record keeping, and data recording
Skills & Abilities
- Proficient PC skills in MS Office applications; familiarity with mainframe systems and SAP preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Physical Standards
The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment, which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.
Pay
The pay scale for this position is between $27.91 and $34.18 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
