Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all outgoing shipments including parcel, LTL, FTL, and Canadian/international shipments
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation including BOLs, customs forms, carrier labels, and hazardous material paperwork
  • Ensure all shipments comply with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other lithium battery shipping regulations
  • Cook up with carriers, freight providers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate delays or concerns proactively
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, organization, shipping, and material flow
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control processes
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations teams as needed
  • Implement warehouse organization systems and process improvements to maximize efficiency and space utilization
  • Oversee RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing, tracking, and organization
  • Ensure returned products are documented, inspected, and routed appropriately
  • Coordinate order fulfillment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to resolve order or return issues
  • Ensure drivers follow safety procedures and delivery protocols
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance records
  • Serve as a liaison with safety personnel, auditors, and regulatory agencies as needed
  • Stay current on shipping regulations, warehouse safety practices, and industry standards
  • Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy, condition, and compliance
  • Maintain detailed shipping, inventory, and operational records for traceability and auditing
  • Generate reports related to shipping performance, inventory accuracy, RMAs, and operational KPIs
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions

Requirements

  • Experience in shipping, warehouse management, logistics, or distribution operations
  • Strong knowledge of lithium battery shipping requirements and hazardous materials regulations
  • Familiarity with DOT, IATA, IMDG, and HAZMAT documentation and compliance procedures
  • Experience managing inventory systems, warehouse organization, and operational workflows
  • Experience coordinating freight carriers, negotiating shipping rates, and managing logistics providers
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with shipping platforms (UPS/FedEx), ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred
  • Warehouse and manufacturing environment
  • Regular exposure to batteries and regulated materials with required PPE and safety procedures
  • Able to lift between 60-100lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Standard business hours with opportunity for overtime as needed
