Distribution Sales Sr. Specialist
About the role
This position supports existing Distribution field sales managers, enabling career growth into full Distribution field sales management. Working with the Director of Sales and Distribution sales managers, the role will support sales activities including account cold calling, follow-up, program tracking, and event support. The core purpose is to provide support and increase revenue at all distribution accounts, helping sales managers quickly identify opportunities for direct relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Review Sell-in and Sell Thru data to identify key areas of focus and incremental opportunities.
- Synthesize reporting for management review, including monthly Distribution account reviews of sales in units and dollars.
- Support continuous business planning and forecasting for distribution accounts by maintaining weekly and monthly Distribution forecasts (Indirect Partners) and collaborating with direct distribution partners for product needs.
- Administer sales orders, program execution, validation, and channel communications to support account initiatives and development.
- Implement overall segment strategy; execute Samsung brand initiatives and support all sales and marketing objectives.
- Track individual and group Distribution performance and follow up with sales managers and accounts.
- Serve as the key contact for distribution accounts' resource needs, including assets, programs, specifications, and other resources required to execute business strategies.
- Identify and research new account and location prospects to increase revenue at distribution accounts.
- Explore opportunities and expansion within existing and new channels.
- Support distribution and industry events with coordination and follow-up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of previous relatable Consumer Electronics or Distribution account sales experience, with a focus on advanced data analytics, organizational skills, decision-making, initiative, and timely follow-up to drive business results.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
- Experience managing large partners or portfolios.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. up to 40% of the time.
Skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and outstanding presentation and sales skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, and data analysis).

Pay
For roles based in New Jersey and Washington State, the salary range for this position is expected to be between $114,500 and $141,500. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
