Distribution Process Worker Supervisor

Duties

• Help Exercises technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers.
• Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, in accordance with general work schedules, methods, and policies established by higher-level supervisors.
• Determines the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects.
• Sets performance standards for subordinates and makes formal appraisals of their work performance.
• Counsels employees and discusses informal complaints and grievances with workers and union representatives.
• Initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintains work reports and records.

Requirements

• Conditions of employment: Must be a U.S. citizen, tour of duty set schedule, security requirements, non-exempt, fair labor standards act, selective service requirement, recruitment incentives not authorized, bargaining unit status no, selectees required to have REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents, pre-employment physical required, supervisory probation required, completion of supervisory certification program required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain licenses and/or certifications required by the installation, federal, state, and local laws.
• Physical Effort: Stands on hard surfaces for extended periods of time, bends, stoops, works in tiring and uncomfortable positions, lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds, uses weight
