Distribution Partner Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned manufacturer and distribution partner relationships while serving as the primary point of contact for vendor communications
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications
  • Support sales growth initiatives and execute programs designed to increase direct line revenue and profitability
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with manufacturers, suppliers, and distribution partners
  • Collaborate with internal Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support teams to ensure successful execution of partner programs
  • Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews, analytics reports, and performance summaries for management and vendor partners
  • Analyze sales, invoice, quote, and profitability data to identify growth opportunities and performance trends
  • Maintain accurate pricing structures, price files, product content, and related vendor information
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, rebate agreements, and other commercial arrangements to maximize profitability
  • Support promotional initiatives through marketing programs, product training, and sales campaigns
  • Resolve vendor inquiries, concerns, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor market activity, product trends, and competitive information to identify new opportunities
  • Develop recommendations to improve channel performance and partner engagement
  • Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Ability to create and analyze sales reports
  • Product knowledge of industrial components preferred

  • Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Previous purchasing or procurement experience preferred
  • Account management, business development, or relationship management experience preferred
  • Experience working with distribution accounts preferred
  • Techical or industrial product experience preferred
  • Experience analyzing sales data and preparing performance reports
  • Experience managing manufacturer, supplier, or vendor relationships
  • Experience negotiating pricing, rebate programs, and discount structures preferred
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments to achieve business objectives

Physical Demands

  • Primarily office-based role requiring extended computer usage
  • Frequent walking and movement between departments
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Periodic travel to vendor locations, industry events, and customer meetings
  • Valid driver's license required

Compensation & Bonus

  • The recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $26.00–$36.00 per hour.
  • Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
  • This position is eligible for a year-end bonus plan based on individual performance, departmental objectives, and company results.

  • This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
