About the role
We are seeking a Distribution Development Manager to lead strategic development and distribution initiatives aligned with our headquarters sales strategies. This role requires strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and experience in insurance sales and training.
Responsibilities
- Support the strategic development and distribution initiatives aligned to HQ sales strategies
- Assess, advise, and implement training programs and techniques to drive execution of competitive strategies
- Work with distribution leaders to ensure consistent execution and identify needs or barriers that headquarters can help address
- Drive the coordination, execution, and implementation of broad projects across distribution channels
- Act as a liaison with HQ and the distribution channels
- Mentor and guide employees on business critical strategic initiatives
- Develop and improve capabilities to address performance issues
- Develop initiatives and strategies based on statistical and performance data
- Present findings and recommendations to management
- Manage, motivate, and coach individuals on the team
- Train, develop, or identify employees' training and resource needs
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of existing programs
- Conduct organizational assessments and strategic business planning
