Distribution Design Engineer

Summary We are seeking Distribution Engineers to develop construction work packages for electric distribution systems in various environments, including overhead, underground, and URD. Key responsibilities include designing and developing work packages using GIS, CAD, and other systems, performing engineering calculations (pole strength, cable pulling, fault analysis), and managing project tasks such as forestry requests, permitting, BOM development, and cost estimation. Qualifications include a BS degree, with preferred knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, Pole Loading software, and NESC standards. Strong communication skills and experience in distribution design are essential.
