Distribution Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking Distribution Engineers to develop construction work packages for electric distribution systems in various environments, including overhead, underground, and URD.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing work packages using GIS, CAD, and other systems
• Performing engineering calculations (pole strength, cable pulling, fault analysis)
• Managing project tasks such as forestry requests, permitting, BOM development, and cost estimation

Qualifications

• BS degree
• Preferred knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, Pole Loading software, and NESC standards
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in distribution design
