Distribution Clerk Driver - Central Services (Full-Time, Temporary, Days)

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, efficient, and safe receipt, processing, storage, and delivery of all supplies and equipment purchased by the medical center
• Perform inventory and replenishment procedures
• Clean work spaces and par bins
• Enter patient charges into the computer
• Issue equipment and complete dirty equipment rounds

Requirements

• One year healthcare experience OR one (1) year warehouse/distribution experience including receiving, shipping, inspecting, documenting, storage, and delivering supplies and equipment OR have successfully completed two (2) ROP rotations in the Central Services or Distribution Warehouse departments
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)

Qualifications

• Prior healthcare experience (desired)
• Computer skills (desired)
• Medical Terminology (desired)

Skills

• Capable of using computerized Materials Management Information System
• Knowledge of inventory management and distribution procedures
• Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment desired
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service emphasis
• Ability to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment including multi-tasking
• Able to use hand trucks, flat carts, pallet jacks, and dock lift

Compensation Range: $21.33 - $27.30. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Shift: Days. Shift length: 8 Hours. Days off: Variable. Hours per pay period: 80.
