DISTRIBUTION CLERK

About the role
The Distribution Clerk performs inventories, issues equipment, materials, and supplies, performs data entry, and maintains general warehouse housekeeping. Innovations in work procedures may result in time and cost savings. This role supports direct patient care by completing tasks that enable others to provide care. Internal collaboration is required to resolve problems and maintain service satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventories of equipment, materials, and supplies
- Issue equipment, materials, and supplies as needed
- Perform data entry related to inventory and distribution
- Maintain general warehouse housekeeping duties
- Improve work procedures and methods to achieve time and cost savings
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve mutual problems and streamline work procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position
- One (1) year of experience in a customer service, warehouse, or materials management department environment
- Ability to utilize office equipment, including a personal computer and photocopier
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
Schedule
- Day shift: 32 hours per week (part-time)
- Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Weekend and holiday work required
Pay
Salary range: $16.78/hour – $19.39/hour. Compensation will be based on equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
