About the role

As a Distribution Clerk, you will process merchandise as it is received by the Distribution Center. You’ll be part of a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses, serving over 150 countries with iconic brands like Essilor, Varilux, Ray-Ban, Oakley, and more. Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trucks and package trucks (UPS, Federal Express).
• Sign for, count, and inspect delivered product.
• Sort and direct packages to the processing area.
• Process received product for put away.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of product received.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent mathematical aptitude and numerical recognition.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using a ten-key calculator.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to work in a standing/walking position for up to 10 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Receiving department.
• High School Diploma or GED.
