DISTRIBUTION CENTER WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - 1ST SHIFT

About the role

This position requires a dependable, safety-focused, and committed individual to join our team. The role involves a variety of tasks including receiving parts from suppliers, shipping to customers, opening boxes, picking, packaging/repacking parts, using a bar code scanning device, and operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and other tasks related to our warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely select, lift, and move parts that vary in size and weigh up to 40 pounds from various height locations, floor level and up, on a repetitive basis.
• Working in excess of 20 - 30 feet off floor level is common.
• Loading small parcel carriers using mobile equipment.
• Housekeeping - Sweeping, moving boxes and pallets to appropriate area, maintaining cleanliness of work area.
• Sorting product of various size and weight amounts and staging for proper warehouse put away.
• Confirming accuracy of received materials and verifying quality and quantity of parts received.
• Replenishing parts in bin and rack areas throughout warehouse.
• Concepting parts to fit location.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand basic English.
• Basic computer knowledge - knowledge of Click System is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year applicable experience in a production environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating mobile equipment: forklift, order selector, reach truck.
