Distribution Center Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ hourly associates to achieve daily productivity, quality, and safety targets
• Oversee inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment
• Develop and execute labor plans to align staffing with daily volume and operational priorities
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, accuracy, on-time shipment, labor utilization) and drive corrective actions as needed
• Serve as the on-floor leader during shift, resolving operational issues in real time
• Utilize WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder) to manage workflows, inventory accuracy, and reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with transportation, inventory, and customer service teams to meet business objectives
• Train, onboard, and mentor employees to build a high-performing and engaged workforce
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment in a supervisory capacity
• Proven experience leading teams of at least 10 employees in a high-volume setting
• Strong technical proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Blue Yonder
• Experience managing labor planning, shift operations, and performance metrics
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, extended-shift environment (12+ hour shifts)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, floor-oriented leadership style with a focus on accountability and development
• Continuous improvement mindset; Lean experience is a plus

Work Environment

• 2nd Shift schedule: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (with overtime as needed)
• Fast-paced distribution center environment with a focus on operational excellence and teamwork
