About the Role
Total responsibility for operating an efficient, productive, and safe department while meeting or exceeding daily production requirements within the Distribution Center. Ensures quality and service are at a high level. Maintains a productive, positive, and motivated workforce by spending a minimum of 90% of the total shift "on the floor" reviewing orders and directing associates.
- Manages day-to-day activity within the department, including planning, flow, and resource allocation.
- Develops and motivates associates, ensuring high morale while maintaining company culture.
- Builds effective relationships with business partners, including counterparts, peers, management, union, human resources, loss prevention, and transportation.
- Effectively communicates with associates, counterparts, peers, and management to provide a more efficient operation.
- Ensures the area meets all requirements for safety and housekeeping.
- Drives constant improvement by reviewing practices, methods, and processes, and makes recommendations for enhancements.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing diverse teams of 20+ associates.
- 4-6 years of experience.
- High school graduate (college preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication, coaching, and development skills.
- Proficient in math and PC skills.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, provide feedback, and develop other leaders.
- Must be available to support multiple shifts.

Pay
This position has a starting salary range of $61,000.00 to $82,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
