Distribution Center Hiring Event - Multiple Openings!

About the role

GRI Engineering & Development, LLC, a member of MAT Holdings, Inc., is opening a new distribution center in Shannon, Mississippi. Founded in 1984, MAT Holdings is a privately held global company with over 14,000 employees across 12 countries, serving customers in the automotive, hardware, fencing, and power equipment industries. As we launch this operation, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team. We are hiring for multiple warehouse positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts, including Warehouse Unloaders, Material Handlers, Reach Truck Operators, Order Pickers, Warehouse Checkers, Forklift Loaders (Sit‑Down Forklift), and Janitorial Associates. A job fair will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Tupelo North (923 North Gloster, Tupelo, MS 38804) on Tuesday, October 13 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Wednesday, October 14 from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, where our team will answer questions and provide insights on current openings.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks
• Order picking and pallet building
• Inventory movement and material handling
• Shipping and receiving activities
• Quality checks and order verification
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• General warehouse support duties

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier weights with assistance when required
• Ability to work safely and follow company procedures
• Forklift or reach truck experience preferred for equipment operator positions
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
