Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A clear and valid commercial Texas driver’s license (Class A or B - unrestricted).
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- One (1) year experience driving commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Ability to work independently.

Salary/Paygrade: $20.08/HS-8 Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees
Essential Functions
- Make daily deliveries of materials and supplies as routed using a district delivery truck.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and assist in moving and storage of materials as required.
- Maintain accurate records of items picked up and delivered.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and work area per applicable regulations and district standards.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in safe operating condition and schedule routine maintenance and repairs.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
- Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager or his designee.
