Responsibilities

  • Daily order allocation and processing
  • Inventory management, including DSP projects, item inquiries, adjustments, and receipts
  • Purchase Order (PO) entry for non-stock supply purchases (e.g., consumables, Grainger, WB Mason)
  • Vendor setup, correspondence, and sourcing
  • Vendor relations, including coordinating, monitoring, and scheduling
  • Facilities management: coordinating, monitoring, and scheduling maintenance, repairs, and equipment
  • Supervising shipping, receiving, production, and coordinating sales team group events
  • Sales interaction via phone and email for order fulfillment and exceptions
  • Assisting in order exception investigations and general information requests from sales, allocations, purchasing, and supply chain teams
  • Managing workflow (Process Maker) for DC expenses and invoicing (e.g., supply purchases, equipment repairs)
  • Maintaining vendor log and sign-in sheet
  • Approving invoices and filing/maintaining packing lists for purchases outside ERP
  • Outbound freight scheduling and selection (LTL, CUST, brokered services, export compliance, commercial invoices)
  • Monitoring and resolving pre-release order processing
  • Reconciling month-end freight bills, pro numbers, and discrepancies
  • Monitoring cases and coordinating carrier inspectors for resolution administration
  • Supervising and monitoring equipment binder reviews, ensuring keys are accounted for and forms are maintained
  • Writing SOPs for receiving, production, and DC clerk processes
  • UPS/FedEx shipping and will-call servicing
  • Operating material handling equipment (MHE) to load/unload trucks

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of warehouse/inventory management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with general transportation terms
  • Comfortable in a high-urgency production environment
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining high levels of organization
  • Prior use of RF technology and computerized WMS systems
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of specialty and basic wire and cable products
  • Military training and/or experience
  • Bilingual
