Distribution Center Associate, Iowa Premium, Tama, Iowa

Responsibilities

• Be on time and ready to work at the start of shift
• Unload of dry goods delivery
• Warehouse stocking of perishable goods
• Load and unload storage/transfer trailers
• "5S" implementation with focus on visual order, organization, cleanliness and standardization
• Inventory counting and reconciliation
• Inbound/Outbound Trailer Inspection
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, labels, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Supervisor, Peers, and other employees of the organization.
• Add/Subtract and Multiply/Divide.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a reach stand up lift
• Previous experience with a rider pallet jack
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to perform these functions in Hot/Cold environment, both indoors and outdoors
