Distribution Center Associate
Location: 1500 Waltham Way, Sparks, NV 89437 – conveniently located off I-80 and accessible from Reno, Sparks, Spanish Springs, Fernley, and surrounding communities.

In this role, you'll support warehouse operations by processing customer orders, operating material handling equipment, receiving inventory, preparing shipments, and working with specialized wire-processing equipment. Responsibilities
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Pull, stage, and put away inventory
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
- Support order fulfillment and inventory movement throughout the facility
- Receiving
- Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, and condition
- Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading
- Accurately process inventory transactions within warehouse systems
- Prepare inventory for storage and distribution
- Shipping & Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Process LTL and parcel shipments
- Ensure orders are accurately packaged and shipped on time
- Support customer satisfaction through shipment accuracy and quality
- Wire Processing & Value-Added Services
- Operate specialized production equipment including Rim Drives and Re-spoolers used to cut wire to customer specifications
- Support value-added services including striping, dyeing, wire stripping, twisting, lashing, and other wire-processing activities
- Maintain quality standards during all production processes
- Safety, Housekeeping & Equipment Maintenance
- Follow all safety policies and operating procedures
- Complete required equipment inspections and checklists
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the distribution center
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends when business needs require
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8-hour shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Pay
Competitive pay starting at $21.42/hour with multiple career levels and advancement opportunities:
- DCA 1: $21.42 - $24.49/hr
- DCA 2: $24.27 - $27.49/hr
- DCA 3: $27.50 - $30.24/hr
