Responsibilities
- Receive stock and verify accuracy of new product
- Rotate stock and restock returned products
- Operate forklift and order picker machines
- Assist with quarterly inventories
- Read production, customer, work, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code)
- Fill requisitions
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Open boxes and other containers
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Perform janitorial duties when required
- Other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager(s)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three months related experience and/or training
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Forklift Certificate
