Distribution Associate Midday

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work well with others and function in a team environment.
Safely operate all required equipment.
Must be able to move extremities and the spine through a functional range of motion allowing safe maneuvering of product from floor to overhead while material handling.
Must have sufficient strength in the trunk and extremities to perform tasks in multiple positions from the floor to overhead while material handling.
Reach, handle, finger, lift, carry, push-pull, and maintain balance as required for the job.
Must demonstrate sufficient capacity to lift, carry and push-pull.
Exposure to slip and trip hazards including pallets on the floor, wet weather, cold/hot temperatures on the loading dock and out in the yard.
Exposure to cold temperatures as required for working in and out of unheated trailers.

Operate a two wheel hand cart and second person assistance when needed.
Stage and load/unload products for shipping or storage in the warehouse.
Palletize product and box product when necessary.
Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product, place incoming product into the warehouse racks.
Based on assigned load sheet, retrieve product from aisle racks after cleared by scanner, and load trailer.
Pick-up breakage, miscellaneous wood, plastic and maintain housekeeping standards.
Check for damaged product and do not load any damaged product for shipment to customer.
Interact and respond professionally to co-workers requests.
Meet established product rates and accuracy standards.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
