About the role
As a medical device organization, our Distribution Associates II are critical to the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders with accuracy and quality while helping to maintain inventory integrity.
Working location: Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. This is an onsite role with a shift of 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM in a climate-controlled facility. No weekend hours are required, and there is potential for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Follow requirements of our Quality Management System, including acceptance criteria, storage, traceability of product (inbound and outbound), and reporting non-conformances to leadership.
- Process incoming deliveries: unload trucks, sort product/shipments, palletize or re-palletize products, confirm accuracy of incoming shipments against packing lists, receive product, and put-away to assigned locations.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, selecting products in accordance with customer order specifications.
- Participate in physical inventories and cycle count activities, adhering to written procedures to ensure inventory integrity.
- Operate various material handling equipment (manual and/or motorized), including electric and manual pallet jacks and work assist vehicles, safely and proficiently.
- Confirm warehouse equipment is in good working condition before use, complete required records of equipment operation, and notify supervisors of any issues.
- Follow CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) procedures and GMP (Goods Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to maintain a clean, organized, and safe Distribution Center.
- Perform mailroom duties as assigned and operate material handling equipment (MHE) as needed to support operations.
- Maintain acceptable productivity and accuracy levels, adhere to all company policies and procedures (including safety and attendance), and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent related work experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of general warehouse/distribution work experience.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (experience preferred).
- Basic math skills and ability to read/write English.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret multi-digit alphanumeric part numbers/product attributes and differentiate between similar products.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to operate RF scanning devices and work in multiple systems.
- Obtain Hazmat/Lithium battery certification as needed.
- Able to work overtime as needed to support business needs.
