Distribution Associate

About the role

The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking candidates for our distribution & logistics operation. The distribution center is the hub for all shipping and receiving activity for the Zoo. This position plays a critical support role for many departments around the Zoo campus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving of product
• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Delivering products to areas throughout the Zoo
• Inventory controls
• Event support and other duties as necessary depending on seasonal or special activities
• Contributes to a positive and safe team environment and communicates well with supervisors and other Zoo staff where deliveries may occur

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift and move product

Pay

The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour, but may start higher based on availability and experience of the candidate.
