Distribution Associate

Responsibilities

• Working with the Distribution Manager and coordinator to execute the overall distribution of merchandise to Fleet Feet Chicago’s retail stores.
• Mercandise will include footwear, apparel, and accessory categories slated for retail sale.
• Assisting merchandise distribution to stores.
• Pulling footwear and accessories for store transfers.
• Accurately counting and stickering incoming apparel/accessories.
• Maintaining a clean and efficient work area for distribution operations.
• Maintaining a fun and positive work environment for distribution staff.
• Supporting all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of operations experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and retail industry knowledge preferred.
• RICS knowledge at an operational level preferred.
• Able to keep accurate number counts when distributing merchandise.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to listen and adapt.
• Buils and maintains trust by using sound judgment.
• Collaborative and customer-centric.
• Willing to go above and beyond when needed.
• Lives an active lifestyle.
