Distribution Analyst

Job Description and Duties

The California Lottery is seeking a Distribution Analyst (Analyst II) to join its energetic sales team. This role is responsible for analystical and development assignments related to product distribution and contracts under the direction of the Manager II of Sales Support & Distribution (SS&D).

• Understand and analyze complex programs and/or contracts.
• Prepare competitive bids for contracted services.
• Manage and document contract performance based on internal controls and key performance indicators.
• Organize and analyze complex datasets.
• Conduct research and analytical reviews.
• Write reports and make presentations.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with strategic budget planning and budget tracking.
• Experience working on project teams.
• Experience preparing competitive bids for contracted services.
• Experience managing and documenting contract performance based on internal controls and key performance indicators.
• Experience organizing and analyzing complex datasets.
• Experience analyzing complex programs and/or contracts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Experience conducting research and analytical reviews.
• Report writing and presentations experience.
