Distribution Aide (Full-time, Dayshift)

About the role

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Central Service Distribution Aide to support their mission-driven team in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The position offers 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), rotating day shifts between 6:30 AM - 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable supply chain experience in a healthcare setting
• Rotate among several supply & equipment delivery tasks, handling urgent needs and changing priorities
• Take calls from nursing, OR, and clinic staff to fulfill urgent supply & equipment needs
• Clean and redistribute moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital
• Unbox and stock nightly deliveries of supplies in hospital storage rooms and the OR
• Ensure the accuracy of supplies within emergency carts and kits by replacing used or expired items

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• No prior experience required
• Ability to multitask and handle conflicting priorities
• Ability to walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs occasionally

Pay

$17.10/hour starting, with shift differentials for PM's, nights, and weekends.
