Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Dissemination Specialist – Team Lead to support mission-critical intelligence operations at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role is responsible for leading a team of dissemination professionals while ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely distribution of intelligence products across multiple security domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of dissemination specialists supporting intelligence operations.

  • Assign, prioritize, and oversee daily tasking to ensure mission timelines are met.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members.

  • Cookordination with stakeholders across intelligence planning, collection, analysis, and dissemination functions.

Dissemination Operations

  • Prepare, process, and disseminate intelligence products across multiple security domains.

  • Ensure all products are properly marked, classified, and distributed in accordance with DoD and IC policies.

  • Manage product posting and distribution to approved users, organizations, and systems.

  • Verify user clearances, accesses, and need-to-know prior to dissemination.

Security & Compliance

  • Make complex classification and dissemination decisions, including:

    • Foreign disclosure and coalition partner support
    • Multi-level security environments
    • Multi-domain data transfers
  • Identify and log potential inadvertent security incidents in accordance with policy.

  • Maintain and enforce site SOPs aligned with governing regulations.

Metadata & Systems Management

  • Generate, review, and maintain intelligence product metadata in accordance with government standards.

  • Utilize government tools, including:

    • Document Dissemination Tool (DDT)
    • CORE (Create, Organize, Retrieve, Evaluate)
    • DIA Product Control Numbering Database (PCN DB)
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ensure products are properly registered in approved intelligence repositories.

Communication & Documentation

  • Deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences.

  • Draft, update, and maintain SOPs and operational documentation.

  • Produce reports incorporating both text and visual elements to convey complex intelligence concepts.

  • Facilitate small-group instruction and coordination on data and dissemination requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Meets all qualifications of a Senior Dissemination Specialist.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading teams and managing tasking within intelligence operations.

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:

    • Intelligence dissemination
    • Intelligence analysis, collection, or processing
  • Proven experience handling complex classification and dissemination decisions.

  • Strong understanding of metadata standards and management.

  • Ability to brief senior stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly.

  • Experience developing SOPs and formal documentation.

Education Requirements

  • (Desired) Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution OR Associate’s degree with 7+ years of intelligence experience OR High School Diploma with 9+ years of intelligence experience.

Clearance Requirement

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary is commensurate with experience.

  • An approximate alary range for this requisition is: $200k-$220k+ annual.

  • Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
