About the role
A licensed pharmacist working in a non-customer-facing Long Term Care facility, supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring safe medication dispensing.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and verify medication orders
- Maintain pharmacy security and adhere to delivery schedules
- Check labels, packaging, and drug content for accuracy
- Prepare and supervise sterile IV drug products, if needed
- Assist in inventory management, including schedule II drugs
- Follow DEA, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA
- Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service
Qualifications & Skills
- Active, in-good-standing pharmacist license in Ohio
- Preferred experience in Long Term Care pharmacy and IV certification
- Immunization certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic, customer service skills, and ability to prioritize workflow
Schedule
Full-time role with rotating hours between 7am–9:30pm, including every 6th weekend shift; no on-call required.
