Dispensing Nurse - LPN or RN
About the role
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a full-time Dispensing Nurse (RN or LPN) to support our Milford and Georgetown sites. Since 1985, BCCS has been a trusted provider of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment, enhancing the quality of life through education, advocacy, prevention, early intervention, and treatment services. We promote hope and empowerment for individuals and families affected by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV, and related challenges.
The Dispensing Nurse creates a welcoming and healing environment by delivering quality clinical services and maintaining high professional standards. Primary responsibilities include dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment, assisting with intake, participating in treatment planning, following up on medical referrals, and facilitating detox entry.
Responsibilities
- Dispense methadone for opiate addiction treatment
- Assist with the intake process for new patients
- Participate in treatment planning meetings
- Follow up on all medical referrals and record actions
- Facilitate detox entry with proper referrals
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware

- Georgetown: 10 N. Railroad Avenue, Georgetown, DE, 19947
Schedule
- Milford (Monday – Friday): 4:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
- Georgetown (Monday – Friday): 5:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. (Note: Georgetown opens later than other sites)
- Saturdays: Both sites open 5:30 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. (two Saturdays per month)
Pay
- LPN: Starting at $27/hr
- RN: Starting at $29/hr
