Dispatching Security Officer - Unarmed

About the role

As a Tactical Dispatching Security Guard, you will read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, and more. Your keen sense of observation is a key strength. The position is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Prior Dispatch experience of 6 months in Logistics or Emergency (911)
• Computer literacy
• Exceptional communication skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Possess a state license if required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $18.68 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Part‑time schedule: Saturday to Sunday, 7 am to 7 pm.
