Essential duties and responsibilities
- Manage and closely monitor over 10 to 20 owner operators in high paced LTL environment.
- Familiar with all California DOT transportation regulations.
- Must have knowledge of all National and State DOT laws and regulations.
- Expected to perform at 99.5% on time performance.
- Ensure that work is distributed equally among all drivers.
- Understand all customer pick-up and delivery procedures.
- Drivers are to be reminded daily to drive safe and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
- Drivers are to be reminded periodically of all pick-up and delivery procedures.
- Be able to react to emergency or urgent situations as they occur and follow emergency and/or accident company protocol.

- Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma with at least two years industry experience OR Four years of relevant customer service or operations experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Transportation Management Systems.

Pay
- $23.50 per hour
