Dispatcher, Life Science

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the dispatch of healthcare equipment to various locations within the Akron, OH and Fairfield, OH areas, including the World PAC customer site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dispatch of healthcare equipment to various locations within the designated areas.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment to meet patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve any issues that arise during the dispatch process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare equipment and logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of local area roads and transportation routes.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay
