Dispatcher - CLT (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule courier deliveries
• Receive, enter, and manage orders through phone, email, and internal systems
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure excellent service
• Monitor deliveries and assist with issue resolution when needed
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and operational documentation
• Support day-to-day dispatch and customer service activities
• Assist with operational needs and special projects as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Acceptable criminal background and motor vehicle record

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, or a related field
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with routing, maps, and geographic areas
• Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications

Schedule

This position is primarily a 2nd Shift role, with typical hours of 2:00pm–10:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional flexibility may be needed to support business demands, including overtime, weekend, or holiday coverage when necessary. Our team works together to ensure operational success while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Education & Experience

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred: 1 year of dispatching experience
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience
