Dispatcher - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Expedite all assembly and detailed items appearing on shortage or schedule lists.
• Expedite parts through various departments and operations.
• Follow up with purchasing or vendor contacts to obtain sub‑contracted or purchased parts in conformance with the schedule.
• Ensure required parts or assemblies reach the installation point at the proper time, in the proper sequence, and in sufficient quantity.
• Determine reasons for delays in delivery of parts and suggest possible corrective actions.
• In cases of material shortages, suggest possible substitutes and obtain necessary approvals.
• Determine urgency of various jobs and prioritize those most urgently needed.
• Follow up Engineering Change Notices.
• Coordinate functions of lower‑grade dispatchers as needed.
• Prepare shortage log, record all MDRs from inspection review crib, and expedite rework or replacement.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of related experience as a dispatcher.

• Tools and equipment necessary to perform the work involved (specific items not listed).

• Full‑time
• Standard Shift – Second Shift
• On‑site work at Fort Worth, Texas
