Dispatch Supervisor

Plumbline Services is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to join our team of creative and energetic employees dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. This onsite, in-office position reports to our Dispatch Manager.

About the role

Supervise the dispatch team, overseeing their daily activity, schedules, and performance. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring operational excellence and team motivation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team meets metrics as set by company standards
• Assist with dispatch questions and training
• Prepare daily reports in Excel
• Conduct coaching, including weekly check-ins and monthly reviews
• Manage and distribute duties among team members
• Support and coordinate with field staff and department supervisors
• Monitor the dispatch board for technician management and capacity
• Oversee same-day and next-day routing
• Perform payroll timecard corrections and approvals
• Engage and drive team motivation
• Report to the Dispatch Manager
• Be flexible with shifts

Requirements

• High level of call center and/or dispatch experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electric industry (2-3 years)
• 2+ years of experience as a Lead/Supervisor overseeing a team (including check-ins, reviews, or one-on-ones with employees)
• Strong computer skills
• Advanced verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven ability to drive and motivate team members
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
