Dispatch Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily dispatch operations
• Optimize routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery performance
• Lead, coach, and support a team of drivers and dispatch personnel
• Monitor fleet activity and respond to real-time transportation challenges
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Collaborate with customers, operations, and warehouse teams to maintain service excellence
• Track KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and implement process improvements
• Handle escalations, scheduling conflicts, and service recovery efforts

Requirements

• 3+ years of dispatch, transportation, logistics, or fleet management experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
• Experience with TMS, dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation best practices
