Job Duties

  • Communicate with drivers primarily through phone calls, with email/text as backup.
  • Encourage open questions to ensure drivers have all necessary information.
  • Confirm pickup and delivery numbers, locations, and appointment confirmation numbers.
  • Check with airlines for freight availability and schedule.
  • Contact CFS Stations for ocean LCL freight information.
  • Handle dispatch TMS systems, including same-day and HOT SHOTS services.
  • Offer white-glove services.
